Has Grey’s Anatomy gone to the dogs?

I’m not a huge T.V. Watcher these days, but Grey’s Anatomy is one of the shows that I really hate to miss. My kids know to be quiet until commercial break, and Scott knows not to call.
Problem is, this Fall’s season premiere wasn’t as great as I thought it would be. I said ok, well they didn’t hit the mark, and I kinda knew the outcome already so maybe that was the problem. Then I watched the show last night.
Last night sucked! I feel like for the first time in my Grey’s watching years, that the writers have disappointed me. There wasn’t a BIG INTENSE moment at all. Kristina with the Ped’s? Um that would never happen. There was just nothing suspense filled.
The best part was when Yang hit the baseball. Um, she can do anything right? Why was that the biggest thing of the entire show.
They did write in layoffs in this episode, and that’s so realistic in today’s world. But it just wasn’t well written I don’t think. Watch for yourself. (I would embed this video, but of course ABC’s site isn’t working correctly)
Dear writers for Grey’s Anatomy,
You wasted my precious time last night. STEP IT UP!
