Thankful for meeting Maw

I’m so thankful that I got to meet Scott’s grandmother back in the summer. The time I’ve spent in her home has made me feel like a part of her family already. To know that she put all of her faith in God on her worst days inspired me. Even when she was not talking in her right mind (to us) she was talking to the Lord. There were times where she would talk to people that had already passed on, or children that we could not see. She was concerned for them. She always put others first. The love that she instilled in all of those in her family is such a legacy that I strive to leave.

Maw was such a strong woman. She was the cornerstone of her family, and her community. In the few short months that I knew her, she really made an impact on my life. I’m so thankful that she came into my life, if even for such a short time.
