Homemade Laundry Detergent

I'm in a contest to win a Bag Makeover. I really need this since Chocolate melted in my bag and I haven't been able to replace it. Please vote for me!!! It only takes a second! If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

I tell a lot of people about making my own laundry detergent, and they are always asking how it works and all kinds of questions. I recently ran out of washing soda and have had a hard time finding it around here. The last box that I bought was through Amazon, but really who wants to pay for the shipping, it really just cuts down on the saving and being frugal is the main reason I started using it. Its really fun to make, works better than most comercially bought products and frugal. How can you beat that?  Well The Simple Dollar taught me how to make it, so I’ll let him teach you from the new video.

The Simple Dollar Makes Laundry Detergent

*Note: After some research, Soda Ash used for pools is the same exact thing as washing soda. I’m going to see if we have any left from last year and price it at Walmart and pool supply stores. I’ll let you know what i find.
